Can anyone tell me why i felt dizzy and light headed after taking a ten min hot bath?

and nausiated right when i got out. im 17 and maleCan anyone tell me why i felt dizzy and light headed after taking a ten min hot bath?
When you get hot all the veins close to the skin dilate (get bigger) to make the skin cool down so that your core temperature doesn't get too high. This diverts blood away from other organs, including the brain as all the blood is going to the veins in the skin. This can cause the dizziness. Also if you stand up quickly when you get out of the bath (as we always do!) this can cause a drop in your blood pressure which can make you feel more light headed. heat causes vasodialtion..., ur bath was pretty warm. The blood was trying to work its way back up to the heart quickly. Next time dont get the water too hot, and change your position slowly when u stand.
yhh thts how i sometimes feel... but i still love my hot baths ;D
