What colors should I use in my bathroom that has a light pink/tan bath tub in it?

I want to do a little makeover on my bathroom. Right now the walls are light pink (ew). The bathtub is a very light tanish color, and the toilet and sink are white, so is the floor. I was thinking white on the walls, but am not sure what colors to put in there, like what color shower curtain and accessories would match with the bath tub?

I was thinking of doing a beige color shower curtain to bring out the light tan in the bathtub and steer clear of the pink, but I want more color than just a tan and white bathroom. What colors should I use in my bathroom that has a light pink/tan bath tub in it?
i have the same problem I have a purple room with orange curtains that definatly don't match. What you want to do is have a pale yellow or golden color for the walls. Maybe even go for an orange. You can get great shower curtains at bed and bath for accessories put cute shelves (home depot) and dfinatly get candle or body lotions/gels from bed and bath. You should have an essentail scent for the month. Or you can spray paint your toilet or get new tiles done if you hate the color

You actually have a couple of nice things to work with...

the light tan tub and other white fixtures.

I think you could paint the walls a medium shade of tan/suede. Would give it a rich look. Or paint the walls white as planned and 1 accent wall in the medium/dark suede color.

For the shower curtain, I opt for clear with an opaque pattern on it. This way light goes around the whole room and does not stop at the solid shower curtain. It is also light in the shower/tub area too.

Another idea, clear liner (inside tub) with a white sheer fabric curtain on the outside.

The sheer white curtain gives it a spa-like look.

Or instead of the sheer white curtain, you could use a sheer curtain in another light color, like turquoise, green.

Keep the accent colors to a minimum and the tans and whites will give the whole bath a spa-like look.

Use white bathroom paint or satin on the bathroom ceiling and satin or semi-gloss on the walls. Both in latex.
Adding blue and chocolate to your color scheme

will complement and contrast perfectly.

Light blue walls for a light and airy feel.

You could put a layer of blue glass beads in a shallow

decorative/glass bowl and place a short white candle in the middle.
