What is causeing our light colored bed sheets, pillow shams, bath towels etc...to turn colors?

After my Fiance' got done washing her face she grabed a Towel to dry her face off and she noticed it turned colors like bleach was poured on to it. The towel was perfect before her useing it, the towel is a light goldish color. We also noticed this same bleach color all over are new tan bed sheets an pillow shams but not on the dark colors. What in the world could this be????What is causeing our light colored bed sheets, pillow shams, bath towels etc...to turn colors?
Some cosmetic can do this. Acne treatments with benzoyl peroxide will bleach fabrics as well.

It can be her make-up or if she is using any facial/acne products or stuff that has hydrogen peroxide in it, those will bleach it out also.





There's no way to really get the color back. I've got plenty of shirts with a make-up bleach stain around the collar.
Something in the soap you are using is having a reaction to the fibers in the bed sheets and towels. Next time try washing these items before using them.
Maybe you are washing in water that's too hot. Or did you use some other type additive such as OxiClean? It's best to wash light colors with like Colors
the fiance's facial cleaning products will bleach color out of towels, sheets, and clothing.
