Should I do a matte or glossy finish on travertine in small bath shower, doors, wainscoat? It's a light color?

i would use glossy for the shower. u have to remember that it will at some time need to be cleaned, and the rough finish will hold dirt and be hard to clean out. we retiled our shower last summer, and i had the forsight to use gloss,,,,,,,,,so easy to clean. but thats just me. i like the look of the matte, but sooooooo hard to clean.
