Sorry Sunshine, I'm a guy. Those candles go out with water spraying all over the bathroom. Once I get in the shower, I don't want to get out. Damn the torpedoes. Have a good bath. I understand you women about 9%. Sweet dreams.Does a hot bath with only the light of candles do it for you? Or are you a quick shower type of person!!?
both :) i would rather have a bubble bath with candles when im stressed or tired but if i dont have time then i'd take the shower. :)Does a hot bath with only the light of candles do it for you? Or are you a quick shower type of person!!?
Ah, I love hot baths with candles. I miss the days when I had more time to indulge in them!
Definitely not a quick shower type of person!
Long shower. Couldn't be bothered getting out the candles.
Before kids it was a bath with only the light of candles. Now, it's a quick shower whenever possible!! Ahhhh, those were the good ole days!
on an every day basis, definitely the quick shower... when i need to relax, the hot bath with candles for sure
mmmm i like you already...thats the type of thing that makes my heart feel lighter
Quick shower type of person. This is not to say that with the right libation and the right companion I would turn down a candlelight bath, a deux.
quick shower.
hot bath = soaking in your own filth.
I love my bubble baths
in a hurry quick shower... if it is fun time give me the candles and a hot bath
I love a bath with candles. But this takes awhile. And so worth it. When need a quickie... I go for a shower. mo
Usually, quick shower, with 3 new babies in the house. But, on Friday night, after the little fellas are down for the night, my hubby fixes me a nice hot bath and some lavendar candles. He fixes a nice snack for us while he's waiting for me
Oh, I'd MUCH prefer the hot bath with only the light of candles! With a sensual fragrance. A nice long, relaxing one! YES!! I think I'll head in there right now!!
long shower girl
I prefer a bath with candles that is an excellent way to relax after a long day!
Shower. Get in, get out - five minutes tops.
Both..it all depends on the day
Candles, music, wine, or a good scotch, a secure door lock, and not too many bubbles.
shower in the am
hot bath after a long day
I'm a shower person.
The thought of soaking in ones own filthy bath water is disgusting.
shower
I don't have the time for a hot bath, but on the rare occasion when I can take one, it's great!!
I prefer a hot bath and candles, but ususally only have time for a quick shower.
shower...but when I've worked real hard and my muscles are sore I'll take a hot bath...but not with candles lol.
Quick shower; get dressed; fly out the door...
well if i have the time in the day to do that than i would defiantly prefer the bath, but i still take a shower before i take my bath to get all the oil off, i don't want to sit in my bath water full of dead skin cells and oils. Baths are so relaxing especially if you drop some lavender oil in the bathtub super soothing. I also think thats more of a girl thing too, i don't know a lot of guys that like or admit to taking baths.
Quick shower
A hot bath with calgon in the pink box bubbles and a few scented candles is the only to end a stressful day!!!
I take 20 minute showers....unless you think thats quick?

no ground wire in our 50+ year old house. What should we doWe are changing the light in our 1/2 bath. There is no ground wire existing in this 50+ year old br. what sh?
Can you run a ground to the cold water pipe? If you can you can use the water pipe as a ground. It is not ideal but it is the next best thing to running a new power feed with a proper ground. The white wire in older homes used to double as the neutral and the ground. If you look in an electrical panel you will see they are often both connected to the same neutral bar. This is no longer acceptable under code. But you have to work with what you have.We are changing the light in our 1/2 bath. There is no ground wire existing in this 50+ year old br. what sh?
Lots of 50 year old homes don't have ground wires. No big deal.
Where does the feed for the light come from? Usually power from the panel goes to one outlet to the next to a light - i.e. it's all a daisy chain. Some electricians like to have separate lighting circuits from the outlet circuits while others wire up a circuit for a room or group of rooms. If this light gets its power downstream of an outlet then you could put a GFCI outlet there and run everything downstream off the ';LOAD'; terminals of the GFCI. No ground is required, GFCI measures difference in current between hot and neutral and can protect an ungrounded circuit.

I have awakened about 10 times this year to everything bathed in a beautiful yellow light. It can take up to 1?
and 1/2 minutes to clear. I looked color disturbances up and it mentions something called chromatopsia and it can occur in different colors. The yellow version of this is called xanthopsia. Has anyone had any such experience or knowledge what it could be?I have awakened about 10 times this year to everything bathed in a beautiful yellow light. It can take up to 1?
i love your optimism! lol
but sorry, no i haven't experienced this.

Do you bath by candle light?
Yeah i do when i try to relax :)Do you bath by candle light?
No , I'm too lazy to do that , what if the candle falls in the water? I dont bathe , period. It feels better to have rain like water on your skin while you're washing yourself really hard to make yourself clean. Rather than sitting in water and cleaning your tub with your back and bottom. Its not always as nice as it looks in the movies.Do you bath by candle light?
Nope, fire hazard. Don't fancy the irony of sitting in several gallons of water with the plastic bath on fire.
I have before. Usually I don't have enough time for more than a quick shower.
i do when i try to relax but otherwise no i dont
im eco friendly. i dont light candles while taking shower. but i keep candles lit 3 times a week
';e'; and sometimes
I shower.
Baths are gross. You're trying to clean yourself while wallowing in your own filth
No.
Baths are just sitting in dirty water....I prefer showers.

Wiring a exhaust, light, heater, bath fan unit?
Bathroom exhaust/heater fan and light combo wiring?
Ok here is what I have. Of coarse the exhaust fan(BLUE) and heater fan(RED).
The light (YELLOW)
What I have here is 3 individual switches on the wall, but coming from those switches are only two sets of wires and not 3. Both set of wires have only a ground, neutral, and hot wires.
I have already wired up the light to the switch I wanted and it works fine, but with fan and heater, I cannot get to work. I wired the fan(blue) to the black and the heater(red) to the black.
I am probably confusing who ever reads this, but I am confused on how to wire this without 3 way wiring.
Can anybody help?
I have the light hooked up and it works just fine.Wiring a exhaust, light, heater, bath fan unit?
If the to Hot wires came separate on your fan, then they should NOT be wired together. If there is only two cables exiting your switch box, then one may have four wires in it, controlling both fan and heater. at your heater/fan, look at the wire coming in, does it have a ground, neutral, and 2 hots. If so, then wire on of the hots to your heater (red) then the other hot the your fan(blue).Wiring a exhaust, light, heater, bath fan unit?
Run a hot wire to the light, fan, heater box, hook up the hot side there, then simply run three neutral wires down to switch, this eliminates the hot wire in the small box, then simply split your incoming neutral into thirds and hook up to switches. Make sure you hook up a ground on both ends, one to the switch box, if using more than one simply run a jumper from box to box, and ground the metal casing on the light, fan, heater box and then run that ground by itself to the main ground in the house.
Hope this helps
one set of wires (called Romex) is the HOT side. the other is Switched going to the Device. The Fan and Heater needs more romex down the wall, to seperately control the functions desired. you need two more conductors. Drill %26amp; Fish it in. OR it could be a SMART Switch. in a bathroom ?not. was the original wiring working? if you have attic above, you can do it.
both the switch and the unit should have a manual.
it's really not that hard...help blackheads
